Summer Salt
Founded by Danny Lyu, a former SoCal surfer, Summer Salt embodies surf culture and the food that rolls with it. Danny collaborated with Hungry to bring the burritos stuffed with fries that he inhaled during his teenage years to NYC.
We worked closely with the interior design team at Garrett Singer Architects, to bring the restaurant to life. Sunburst breeze blocks, custom chain-stitched banner and wavy typography embodies the founder's ethos of a laid-back surfer, all grown up.
Not many lunch fast casual spots offer tequila shots, margaritas, palomas and beer. The tone is set with a neon sign greeting you from exterior.
